A subversion of the signet ring, I was interested in how a signet essentializes the owner into a single mark or signature. To fight against this need to define yourself into something singular and unchanging, I designed an h-pattern based on a dresser to use the act of dress-up as a symbol for reconfiguration of self. Now, the wearer of the signet can spin the dice each with unique marks to create an endless number of signatures based on their current attitude.
